Note: This power supply has its own on/off switch, so you don't need to turn on the power supply through motherboard like ATX power supply does. However, since this power supply is designed for use with a computer AT motherboard, it has a minimum load requirement. If it is not plugged to any device, then there will be no power output. If the power supply is plugged to a AT motherboard, it will meet the minimum load requirement. If it is not plugged to a AT motherboard, you may need connect to 2 drives (such as hard drives or DVD drives) to meet the minimum load requirement.
