How to connect SCSI ID switch?
This enclosure has a SCSI ID switch on the back, you can change the SCSI drive ID by simply push the SCSI ID switch. In order to use this SCSI ID switch, you need to connect the SCSI ID switch to your SCSI drive. Here is how to do it:
1. Find SCSI ID jumpers on your SCSI drive. If you don't know where is the SCSI ID jumpers, please contact with the SCSI drive manufacturers or visit their website to find out.

2. For 68-pin SCSI drive, there are 4 SCSI ID jumpers: ID 0, ID 1, ID 2, ID 3. To connect the SCSI ID switch to the jumpers, please connect the Brown cable to ID 0, Red cable to ID 1, Yellow cable to ID 2, Gray cable to ID 3, Black cable to Ground (all 4 ID jumpers ground are linked, so you can connect ground cable to any of ID jumper's ground).
3. For 50-pin SCSI drive, there are only 3 SCSI ID jumpers: ID 0, ID 1, ID 2. To connect the SCSI ID switch to the jumpers, please connect the Brown cable to ID 0, Red cable to ID 1, Yellow cable to ID 2, Black cable to Ground(all 3 ID jumpers ground are linked, so you can connect ground cable to any of ID jumper's ground).
4. If you have located the SCSI ID jumpers on your SCSI drive, but you are not sure which row is ground, you can figure it out this way: if you use the top row jumpers as SCSI ID jumpers and bottom row jumpers as ground, but the SCSI ID switch # does not change the SCSI ID correctly, then try use the top row jumpers as ground and bottom jumpers as SCSI ID jumpers.
Note:You can also use this enclosure if you have a 80-Pin SCSI drive by using optional
