Fujitsu® LifeBook 500/600 Series Hard Drive Installation Instructions
You must reuse the two brackets from the old hard drive!
- Locate the hard drive compartment door on the bottom side of the notebook,
next to the battery pack.
- Remove the 4 Phillips screws from the hard drive comprtment door.
- Grab the black handle and pull the hard drive out of the notebook.
- Remove the 4 Phillips screws from the steep plate that is attached to the
old hard drive.
- Remove the flex circuit from the old hard drive and attach it to the new
hard drive.
- Attach the steel plate from the old hard drive and attach it to the new
hard drive with its respective 4 Phillips screws.
- Connect the new hard drive to the mating connector inside the hard drive
compartment.
- Replace the hard drive compartment cover with its 4 respective Phillips
screws.
