Fujitsu® LifeBook 700 Series Hard Drive Installation Instructions
- Turn Notebook upside down
- Remove CD-ROM
- Remove Battery Pack or Floppy Drive
- Remove the 8 Phillips screws that secure the palm rest
- Turn Notebook right side up
- Remove palm rest
- The Hard Drive is located on the left-hand side
- Remove the 2 Phillips screws that are securing the Hard Drive
- Remove the flex cable from the Hard Drive
- Remove the 4 screws that are holding the Hard Drive in the caddy
- Place the new hard drive into the caddy with the 4 screws
- Attach the flex cable to the Hard Drive
- Secure the Hard Drive into place with the 2 screws from Step 8
- Replace the Palm Rest
- Turn Notebook upside down
- Replace the 8 screws from Step 4
- Replace the Battery Pack or Floppy Drive and CD-ROM
