The current output of a AC adapter varies: it depends how much the device needs. For example, if a AC power adapter maximum current output is 3A, it does not mean the AC adapter current output is 3A. It means the power adapter current output maximum is 3A, actual output current can be anything between 0~3A. If a AC adapter voltage output is 12V, maximum current output is 3A, then the maximum output of the AC adapter is 12V x 3A= 36VA. It can be replaced with a AC power adapter that the maximum output > 36VA, as long as the voltage is same and the DC plug fits. How it works :

1. Set DC Output Voltage

This Universal AC to DC Power Adapter has a switch on the front that lets you select the voltage you need within a range of 12V ~ 21 volts. 2. Select right tip:

Included with your adapter are 5-plug tips that work with most products. With the plug tip not connected to the adapter cord, locate the correct tip by fitting the tip into the DC Jack. The tip should fit snugly in the DC jack

3. Set Polarity & Plug the tip

Compared to the traditional inverters, which output in modified sine wave, AC power in pure sine wave is more similar to commercial power. The electronic appliances run cleaner, cooler, and quieter when running on pure sine power. As a result, pure sine inverters save energy costs and extend the life of appliances.

The pure sine inverter also reduces electronic interference, making it a better alternative for operating sensitive audio/video equipment and medical devices. Appliances with dimmers, speed controls, and certain battery chargers may require pure sine power to operate.

Important Note: Power inverter itself does not generate any power. All its power output is from the battery it's connected to. This super quite power inverter can convert DC power from a car cigarette lighter socket or a 24V battery ( Voltage range can be 20V ~ 30V) into 110V 60Hz AC power, which is similar to the power supplied from your home electrical outlets. Its input side is a car cigarette light plug, which can directly plug to a car cigarette lighter socket. Its output side is a universal 3-hole AC socket which accept both 2-pin and 3-pin AC plugs.

With this DC to AC power inverter, you can power your electronic devices with their original power adapters from a 24V battery.

Compared to the traditional inverters, which output in modified sine wave, AC power in pure sine wave is more similar to commercial power. The electronic appliances run cleaner, cooler, and quieter when running on pure sine power. As a result, pure sine inverters save energy costs and extend the life of appliances.

The pure sine inverter also reduces electronic interference, making it a better alternative for operating sensitive audio/video equipment and medical devices. Appliances with dimmers, speed controls, and certain battery chargers may require pure sine power to operate.

Main Features and Protection:

Temperature Controlled Super Quite Cooling Fan: The inverter cooling fan will only start working when it is needed. Super quite cooling fan, almost silent.

Under-Voltage Protection(Batteries Using Life Protection) : When the voltage of the batteries drops to the setting under-voltage point, the buzzer will be on, and the power will be off automatically in one minute, then the red light flashes.

When the input voltage is higher than the over-voltage set point of the machine, the machine immediately shut down, and then red light flashes.

Short-Circuit Protection: When the output short-circuit phenomenon exists, the machine shut down immediately, then the red lights starts flashing.(Note: Output short-circuit will cause great harm and affect the life seriously, or even damage the machine.)

Over-load Protection: This machine overload protection with delay to meet some of the impact of higher current loads(such as motors, incandescent) When the load greater than output power, stopped by the degree of time delay 1-10 seconds, then the red light flashes.

Important Note: Power inverter itself does not generate any power. All its power output is from the battery it connected to. The power inverter just change the power format and its efficiency rate is about 90%. This power inverter rated output is 150W. However, the actual power output from the inverter is also limited by the battery output. To get 150W power from this inverter, the connected battery output need to be around 170W. Most car cigarette lighter may only supply maximum 120W power.

Main Features and Protection

Under-Voltage Protection(Batteries Using Life Protection) : When the voltage of the batteries drops to the setting under-voltage point, the buzzer will turn on and the power will automatically shut off in one minute. Then the red light will flash.

When the input voltage is higher than the over-voltage set point of the machine, the machine immediately shuts down and then red light flashes.

Short-Circuit Protection : When the output short-circuit phenomenon occurs, the machine shuts down immediately and the red lights starts flashing.(Note: Output short-circuit will cause great harm and affect the life seriously, or even damage the machine.)

Over-load Protection: This machine's overload protection will output a delay in response to the impact of higher current loads(such as motors, incandescent) When the load is greater than output power, the machine is stopped by the degree of time delay (1-10 seconds) and then the red light flashes.

Over-heated Protection: When the temperature reaches around 50 C ( 122 F) degrees, the fan will be turned on automatically and will not stop until the temperature drops to around 40 C (104F) degrees. When the temperature reaches (exceeds) 60 C (140 F) degree, the buzzer will turn on and the power will shut off in one minute. When the temperature exceeds 75 C (167 F) degree the power will be turned off immediately and the red light will flash.

Important Note: The power inverter itself does not generate any power. All its power output is from the battery it's connected to. The power inverter just changes the power format and its efficiency rate is about 90%. This power inverter's rated output is 600W. However, the actual power output from the inverter is also limited by the battery output. To get 600W power from this inverter, the connected battery output need to be around 700W.
