Its universal platform works for most of the notebook computers which require 15V~20V DC input voltage. (This voltage is notebook AC power adapter output voltage, not the internal battery voltage.)

<1>. The battery uses your current laptop AC power adapter as a charger; there�s no need to carry an extra charger when you travel.



Note: Please select a 16V or 19V AC charger we offer as an option if you need a separate AC charger instead of your own. Select the AC charger with output voltage the same or close to your device�s input voltage.

<2>. You can connect the battery to your laptop, and connect your laptop AC power adapter to the battery like this:



The battery passes the power from the AC power adapter directly to the laptop without consuming its own power. The laptop is actually powered from the AC power adapter even though it�s connected to the battery. In this case, the battery cells are in charging mode and use the AC adapter to charge the battery. There�s no waste of the battery cell�s life time when AC power is available. It will provide power to the laptop only when the AC charger is out of power.

<3>. You can use two or more batteries simultaneously If you need more power. Just link battery 1�s output to battery 2�s input. Then link battery 2�s output to the laptop, as shown in the following pictures





The laptop computer gets power from battery 1 first and uses battery 2 when battery 1 is out of power. You can connect multi-batteries in this way to power your device for the extra running time you need.

How this battery works:



1. Charge the battery: This battery uses your current laptop AC power adapter as a charger. If your laptop AC power adapter does not fit the battery�s input charging port, please use one of different input tips that comes with the package to make your current AC power adapter to fit the battery�s input port:



Note: If can also order the battery with an optional AC charger from us. We offer 16V or 19V battery charger. Please select the AC charger voltage same as or close to your device input voltage requirement.

2. Select the right connector tip: Included with the battery pack are 8 output tips that work with most notebooks & other devices. With the plug tip not connected to the output cord, locate the correct tip by fitting the tip into the notebook DC Jack. The tip should fit snugly in the DC jack

After you have selected the proper plug tip, connect the plug tip to the battery cord.



3. The battery has a switch to select output voltages: 16V or 19V. Select the output voltage close to the voltage of your device�s AC power adapter output voltage after connecting the tip to the battery output cord.

4. Connect the external battery to your notebook�s DC power input jack (which is the same jack your notebook AC power adapter usually plugs into). Now you can power your notebook from this External Battery Pack.



Note: If your notebook�s internal battery is in good condition and has been fully charged, you can leave it in your notebook. Otherwise, we recommend you removing the internal battery from it. The external battery will still work fine with the non-charged internal battery in the notebook, but it may not reach the maximum running time.

How long can this external battery run ?

This battery's capacity is 73Wh(Watt-hour), which equivalent to a 11.V/6600mAh battery. If your notebook internal battery output is: 11.1V & 4400 mAh, then, this external battery capacity is about 1.5 times of your internal battery capacity. In this case, if your internal notebook battery runs 2 hours, then the external battery pack can run about 3 hours. Actual running time varies, depending on the notebook computer's configurations and applications (Ex: screen brightness, the use of the CPU, the hard drive, the CD drive, etc.). The total run-time of the battery is also heavily dependent upon the design of the notebook. To ensure maximum performance of the battery, optimize the computer's power management features. Refer to the computer manual for further instructions.

Even you can not find your laptop or other device listed in our web site, the battery may still work for you. If your device needs 15V ~ 20V DC power ( it is same as your device AC power adapter DC output voltage), the DC plug is round shape and looks similar to one of connector tips shows on the following picture, then this battery should work for your device.
