Hard Drive Installation Guide for HP zd8000 Series Laptops.
1. Loosen the four PM2.0×5.0 screws (1)that secure the hard
drive cover to the notebook.
2. Remove the hard drive cover (2).
3. Grasp the mylar tab <1> on the left side of the hard drive and slide the hard drive to the left <2> to disconnect it from the system board.
4. Remove the hard drive <3>.
5. Remove the four PM2.5×4.0 screws ) that secure the
hard drive frame to the hard drive.
6. Lift the frame straight up to remove if from the hard drive.
Reverse the above procedure to install and reassemble the
hard drive.
