Hard Drive Installation Guide for HP dv9000 Series.

## means any two numbers, XX means any two letters, such as: dv9002ea; dv9002tx; dv9060us; dv9061ea; dv9062ea; dv9201tx; dv9202ea & more...
1. Shut down the computer. Disconnect the power cord. Remove the battery pack.
2. Loosen the two captive Phillips PM2.0×5.0 screws (1) that
secure each hard drive cover to the computer.
3. Lift the right side of the cover (2) and swing it to the left.
4. Remove the hard drive cover.
5. Use the mylar tab (1) to lift the hard drive (2) until it
disconnects from the computer.
6. Remove the hard drive from the hard drive bay.
7. Remove the four Phillips PM3.0×3.0 screws (1) that secure
the hard drive bracket to the hard drive.
8. Lift the bracket (2) straight up to remove it from the
hard drive.
Reverse the above procedure to install and reassemble the
hard drives.
