Hard Drive Installation Guide for IBM ThinkPad T40/T40p, T41/T41p, T42/T42p Series notebook computers.

1.Unplug the AC adapter, if present, and then remove the battery.

2. Remove the screw.

3. Pull out the old hard drive

4. Detach the old hard drive cover from the hard drive.

5. Attach the new hard drive to the hard drive cover.

6. Insert new hard drive

7. Mount the screw.
