Fujitsu® LifeBook C Series Hard Drive Installation Instructions
Turn Notebook upside down.
Remove Battery Pack and the 4 Phillips screws located under the battery.
Remove the 2 Phillips screws located on the right side of the notebook.
Turn Notebook right side up.
Remove palm rest.
Remove the flex cable from the HD and the remove the tape.
Remove the 2 Phillips screws that are securing the Hard Drive in place on the left-hand side (the 2 outside screws).
Gently slide the hard drive tray out of the compartment.
Remove the 4 screws that are holding the Hard Drive in the tray.
Place the new hard drive into the tray with the 4 screws.
Gently slide the hard drive tray back into place.
Secure the Hard Drive into place with the 2 screws from Step 7.
Attach the flex cable to the Hard Drive and the tape.
Replace the Palm Rest.
Turn Notebook upside down.
Replace the 2 screws from Step 3.
Replace the 4 Phillips screws from Step 2.
Replace the Battery Pack.
