Fujitsu® LifeBook E Series Hard Drive Installation Instructions
- Turn Notebook upside down. HD compartment is located in the right front
corner.
- Remove Battery Pack or Floppy Drive.
- Remove the 2 Phillips screws that secure the hard drive bay cover.
- Remove hard drive bay cover.
- Carefully undo the copper tape strip by the Hard Drive connector.
- Remove the flex cable from the Hard Drive.
- Remove the Hard Drive.
- Attach the flex cable to the New Hard Drive
- Secure the Hard Drive into place with the copper tape strip.
- Replace the Hard Drive bay cover.
- Replace the 2 screws from Step 3.
- Replace the Battery Pack
